Description

Letter from James D. Leitner to Adjutant General David Lang informing him that Captain W. W. Brown had left the state and had left his unit's arms and equipment in an unsatisfactory state. Leitner asks Lang to inform the governor of this state of affairs and approve the application of Captain F. W. Cole and his company (the Alachua Light Infantry) for recognition.
