Description

Letter from Roxcy Bolton and Martha Ingle in their capacities as leaders of the National Organization for Women to the director of the Hurricane Center of the U.S. Weather Bureau in Coral Gables. Bolton and Ingle asked that hurricanes no longer be named for women because it associated women with disaster and destruction.
